It's sad, disappointing, maddening that race seems to be playing a greater and not a lesser role in how we view one another and deal with each other. Blacks, in particular, seem to have internalized a sort of "black nationalism" that causes them to be grievance focused on the one hand, and filled with sense of racial superiority on the other.
Despite the trillions of dollars (the mostly white) taxpayers have spent over the years on welfare programs and racial preference programs meant to benefit blacks and make up for the past, the result is that blacks are even more upset at whites.
The nihilist black political class use their positions to fan the flames of racial animosity. It's a paradox that their racist and bigoted rants against whites are celebrated as expressions of righteous indignation while whites would be pilloried for expressing like views about blacks.
God help us, but we seem hell bent on proving Thomas Jefferson right when he wrote:
"It will probably be asked, Why not retain and incorporate the blacks into the state, and thus save the expence of supplying, by importation of white settlers, the vacancies they will leave? Deep rooted prejudices entertained by the whites; ten thousand recollections, by the blacks, of the injuries they have sustained; new provocations; the real distinctions which nature has made; and many other circumstances, will divide us into parties, and produce convulsions which will probably never end but in the extermination of the one or the other race."
So rhetoric by Democrats these days, which is all in response to the corrosion of the national conversation by Trump and his ilk, is supposedly leading to a race war in a country where half of the White population hates the guts of the other half? And it's all the fault of Black Americans?
This self-radicalizing has gotta stop. Getting out into the real world and witnessing firsthand the major disconnect between reality as it truly exists and the constructed faux reality that keeps your rage satiated really helps.
Give me a break. Democrats are victims and are merely responding to Bad Orange Man and his "ilk"? People like you love to pull the victim-bully routine. There's no "rage" towards black folks on my part but there's a cavalcade of so called black leaders and commenters who rage against white folks in general. If there's any "self-radicalizing" going on it's been going on on your side for years.
Me and my "ilk" just want us all to get along and to put a stop to this death spiral of endless racial grievance and retribution.
You're not a member of the federal executive or legislative branches of government and neither am I. My criticism of Trump and his ilk pertain to his cronies in his cabinet and on Capitol Hill, not you. I've found this to be a big reason for the division occurring in America today, namely, private citizens who treat partisan politics like a team sport believe criticism of the politicians in their party are criticisms of them personally, and they believe everyone else approaches politics the exact same way. You accuse me of pulling some "bully-victim" routine which is interesting because it suggests you think mere disagreement with your takes constitutes bullying and I'm not even sure how I'm supposedly claiming to be some sort of victim.
I'm glad you said "so-called black leaders" because the only people who think that's even a thing are the people who use that term, and the people who use that term look to such TV personalities and talking heads as representative of an entire population of ~50M people because they lack relationships with Black Americans, in all of our opinionated diversity, in real life. I guarantee you anybody you might name that you believe to be a "black leader" is routinely subjected to sharpened criticism by a not-insignificant number of Black Americans, including Trump's (first) predecessor. This is precisely why I said you should pull back from social media and TV and get out into the real world. But people are going to believe what they want, regardless of what the truth may be. Black folks don't even know you exist so please stop acting as though we're chasing you down for anything. And if we truly wanted retribution, we would've taken Dylann Roof's bait but we didn't. Nor did we validate your worst fears when Obama was in office which so many White folks were absolutely TERRIFIED of something like that actually occurring. I thought it was exceedingly absurd then as I do now.
You keep feeding the algorithm and it's gonna show you exactly what you want to see and here. Don't confuse that with actual reality that exists beyond the TV and internet.

In what world is this exclusive to Democrats when Donald John Trump sits in the Oval Office for the second time?
Solid, true account of cultural decline.
